About Us:

Masha’s an artist and glassblower.  While working on Unstable Scientific part-time, she is also making glass molecule models for science and education and running a little studio at TwispWorks in Twisp, Washington. There she also gets to mentor teens interested in animation and game design at the Independent Learning Center.  She works primarily with ink and digital painting, but pixel art and animation is a whole other kind of experience.  She often trades her art for stones, specimens, and artifacts, and their house is basically a curiosity cabinet.  She loves the process of testing and refining the game because it feels like combining art with science.

Dustin has a physics and engineering background and is working for Methownet, a local ISP serving our extremely remote town.  He has designed precision scientific equipment for medical research, firmware for radio controlled flashes, and climbed mountains in the winter in order to restore the internet for parts of the valley.  He’s writing a special relativity physics simulator in his spare time, but I’m not sure if that’s compatible with Unstable Scientific’s engine.  Maybe if you give him enough masala chai he can make it happen.
